- Post-Graduate degree in the relevant disciplines mentioned above, with minimum fifty-five percent marks or its equivalent grade.

- National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Education or in the concerned subject as prescribed by the University Grants Commission.
Desirable:
1. M.Ed. or M.Ed. with Specialization
2. Ph. D in Education.
