Qualifications:

- For all Departments & Centers (except Department of Architecture): Ph.D. Degree in relevant field or equivalent degree and shall have first class in the preceding degree
- Note: If suitable Ph. D candidates are not available for (I) Department of Computer Science & Engineering and (ii) hat. Computing Science in the Department of Mathematics & Scientific Computing only, then candidates having Masters degree with first class both at PG & UG level shall be considered at monthly salary @ 70,000/- per mont
- For Department of Architecture: Ph.D Degree in relevant field or equivalent discipline and shall have first class in the preceding degree(s)
- Note: If suitable Ph. D candidates are not available for Department of Architecture then candidate having M.Arch./M.Plan degree with first class both at PG & UG (B.Arch./B.Plan) and one year professional experience also be considered.
Note:
- In case first class is not mentioned in the preceding degrees/ certificates/marks sheets, then the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-points scale) or 60% marks in aggregate.
- Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice-versa given by individual institute / University will not be considered / allowed for determination of eligibility.
- In case the candidate has passed and secured CGPA under any other point scale (other than 10 point scale) then certificate issued by the authorized signatory (not the mentor/ Supervisor/ Head of the Department) of the Institute / University to the effect of having secured first class must be attached. Alternately, the CGPA may be equivalently on 10 point scale for determination of eligibility.

Pay Scale:
- For Ph.D Holders Rs. 80,000/-per month
- For Master Degree Rs. 70,000/- per month
