In the initial years Arya Vysya Samajam was concentrating mainly to provide educational assistance to the economically weaker section of the community.Arya Vysya Samajam, Pondicherry has few properties in the heart of the town donated more than 100 years before by the philanthropic community people. One such property is two acres land at Muthialpet where the school building is now constructed. The land was vacated after a long legal battle with unauthorized tenants during the year 2002. A society that does not give importance to education cannot progress and therefore the elders of the community decided that they should do something to the society in the field of education which will not only help our community but also others. An Educational trust was formed on 6th June 2010 and the same was registered with Income-tax Department as a public charitable trust.
